Phoenix Coyotes (7-15-0) at St. Louis Blues (7-11-3), 8 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues seek their season-high third consecutive win tonight when they welcome the Phoenix Coyotes to the Scottrade Center.
After beginning their recent road trip with three straight losses, the Blues finished the venture with wins in Columbus and Detroit. On Friday, Martin Rucinsky and Doug Weight converted their shootout attempts to provide the difference in a 3-2 victory over the Red Wings.
Petr Cajanek recorded his first multi-goal game of the season, and Dallas Drake picked up a pair of assists for the Blues.
Goaltender Manny Legace stopped 41 shots against his old club, including 22- of-23 in the third period and overtime combined.
The Blues begin a three-game homestand tonight and will host San Jose on Tuesday.
Phoenix, meanwhile, has lost three of its last four games. On Friday the Coyotes were blanked, 4-0, by Minnesota. Niklas Backstrom made 28 saves and four different players scored to lift the Wild.
Curtis Joseph made 22 saves for the Coyotes before David LeNeveu replaced him midway through the third and stopped all three shots he faced.
The Coyotes were shut out for the fourth time this season.
Phoenix will host Los Angeles on Thursday.
Phoenix defeated St. Louis, 5-2, on October 17 in the Gateway City and has won three straight meetings.
