Los Angeles Kings (16-10-1) at Montreal Canadiens (14-7-5), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Montreal Canadiens try to put the brakes on a season- high four-game losing streak this evening when they host the Los Angeles Kings at the Bell Centre.
The Habs' latest setback came at home Thursday night against the Buffalo Sabres. Brian Campbell's goal 2:15 into overtime lifted the Sabres to the victory.
Michael Ryder tallied a goal and an assist for Montreal. Pierre Dagenais also scored while Jose Theodore allowed three goals on 30 shots in the losing effort.
Montreal center Saku Koivu missed the last game with a groin injury and is questionable for tonight's test.
The Habs will play the second test of a four-game homestand tonight. Montreal is 8-4-2 at the Bell Centre this year.
The Kings are coming off Friday's 5-1 drubbing in Ottawa. Dany Heatley scored two goals and Dominik Hasek made 28 saves.
Pavol Demitra netted the lone goal for the Kings, who have dropped three games in a row and four of their last five. Jason LaBarbera allowed five goals on 27 shots in the loss.
The Kings are 6-6-1 on the road this year and will conclude a four-game road trip Tuesday night in Toronto.
LA forward Jeremy Roenick missed Friday's game with flu-like symptoms and is questionable for tonight's test.
The Canadiens have won three of four and seven of the last 10 meetings with LA. The Kings have also dropped two straight in Montreal.
