Phoenix Coyotes (31-33-4) at Columbus Blue Jackets (26-39-3), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets try to end a four-game skid tonight when they welcome the Phoenix Coyotes to Nationwide Arena.
The Blue Jackets' slide comes on the heels of a stretch that saw them win three-of-four. On Sunday they dropped a 4-3 tilt to visiting Anaheim, as Joffrey Lupul scored in the third period to break a 3-3 tie for the Mighty Ducks.
Rick Nash and Nikolai Zherdev each had a goal and an assist for the Blue Jackets. Dan Fritsche scored his fourth goal of the season, and Marc Denis stopped 25 of 29 shots but surrendered three straight goals en route to the defeat.
Nash has posted four goals and four assists in the last six games.
The Blue Jackets will host Calgary on Friday.
Phoenix, meanwhile, has won two of its last three games. On Sunday, Shane Doan netted the deciding goal and Curtis Joseph turned away 34 shots as the Coyotes held on to beat Chicago, 3-2, at the United Center.
Paul Mara and Mike Comrie also scored while Steven Reinprecht donated two assists for Phoenix, which had lost three straight games before the current spurt.
Tonight's match finishes a five-game trip for the Coyotes, who are 15-17-1 on the road. They will host Chicago on Thursday.
Columbus is 2-1 against Phoenix this season, having won the last two meetings.
