(Sports Network) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim try to put the brakes on a four-game winless streak tonight when they welcome the Vancouver Canucks to the Arrowhead Pond.

Michael Holmqvist scored the first two goals of his NHL career and Sergei Fedorov also found the back of the net for the Ducks, who are 0-2-2 in their last four.
Vaclav Prospal and Andy McDonald notched a pair of assists for Anaheim, while Jean-Sebastien Giguere finished with 24 saves.
Simpson, a defenseman, ended an 84-game goal drought. The Ducks are 7-1-2-1 this season when a blueliner scores a goal.
The Ducks, 8-5-3-2 at home in 2003-04, play the third test of a four-game stand tonight.
Magnus Arvedson scored a pair of goals to lift Vancouver to a 3-1 victory over the Kings at the Staples Center on Wednesday.
Daniel Sedin added a goal and an assist for Vancouver, which has won six straight on the road and is 4-2-0 in its last six overall. Dan Cloutier finished with 16 saves in the victory.
The Canucks end a brief two-game road trip tonight before returning home for Sunday's game against Florida.
The home team is 7-1-3 in the last 11 meetings and Vancouver is 4-1-2 in the previous seven matchups overall.
