NHL Game Summary - Calgary at Tampa Bay

Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Jarome Iginla's third period hat trick lifted the Calgary Flames to a 9-6 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning at St. Pete Times Forum.
Iginla also had an assist while Kristian Huselius netted his first career hat trick and added two assists for Calgary, which has won three straight and four of five. Dion Phaneuf added five assists while Miikka Kiprusoff made 25 saves in the win.
"It was definitely a strange game," said Iginla. "We've had a lot of different ones against these guys over the years. Just from the start we had some great goals to get us a boost."
Martin St. Louis had two goals and an assist while Vinny Prospal and Vincent Lecavalier each posted a goal and two assists for the Lightning, who have dropped three of four.
Johan Holmqvist started in net but was pulled after giving up four goals on six shots. Marc Denis finished the game between the pipes and gave up four goals on 25 shots.
The score was tied, 5-5, to start the third period, but Iginla gave the Flames the lead just 25 seconds in as he banged in a loose puck down low.
The Lightning tied the contest halfway through the third on the power play as Brad Richards' slap shot from the high slot beat Kiprusoff over the glove.
However, Iginla scored a pair of goals separated by 60 seconds to make it an 8-6 contest.
Iginla gave Calgary the lead with 5:19 left in the third as his wrist shot from the slot sailed over the right shoulder of Denis and just 60 seconds later Iginla completed the hat trick with a wrister from the right circle that went between the pads of Denis.
Owen Nolan's empty-netter in the last minute accounted for the final score.
It was a busy first period as the teams combined for seven goals in the first 20 minutes.
Calgary got on the board first as Huselius took a pass between the defense and flicked a quick shot from the low slot into the right corner of the net just 4:38 in.
Tampa, though, took a 2-1 lead as Lecavalier finished a 2-on-1 break with a one-timer past Kiprusoff at the 7:58 mark and just ten seconds later Andre Roy banged in a rebound for his third goal of the season.
Huselius netted his second goal of the game at the 9:29 mark as a loose puck popped into the air and Huselius batted it past Holmqvist.
Adrian Aucoin scored on the power play when his one-timer from the high slot made it into the net and 1:43 later Jarome Iginla sent a pass on net that hit off the skate of Daymond Langkow for a 4-2 lead.
Holmqvist was pulled from the net after the goal and replaced by Denis.
The Lightning made it a 4-3 game with 1:16 left in the opening frame as St. Louis' slap shot from the right circle found its way between the pads of Kiprusoff for a short-handed tally.
Tampa Bay tied the game halfway through the second period as Prospal slid a backhand past a prone Kiprusoff for his 14th goal of the season.
Calgary again took the lead, 5-4, as Huselius completed the hat trick with a wrister from the slot that beat Denis on the stick side at the 12:16 mark.
The Lightning, though, again tied the contest with 2:04 left in the second period as St. Louis' one-timer from the slot beat Kiprusoff over the glove.
The Flames continue their season-high six-game road trip at Carolina on Friday...Tampa Bay hosts Washington on Saturday...It was the sixth hat trick of Iginla's career...Tampa went 2-for-5 on the power play while Calgary scored on one of its four chances.
