NHL Game Summary - Detroit at Phoenix

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Henrik Zetterberg scored a goal and assisted on another as the Detroit Red Wings beat the Phoenix Coyotes, 5-2.
Zetterberg is leading the league with 17 points and has at least one point in all nine games this season. He has scored in six straight contests, besting his career high set March 9-18, 2006.
Kirk Maltby scored twice, while Jiri Hudler and Brett Ledba also lit the lamp for Detroit, which has won three of its last four games. Dominik Hasek stopped 19-of-21 shots in the victory.
Steve Reinprecht and Derek Morris both scored for Phoenix, which has lost five of its last six games. Mikael Tellqvist allowed all five goals on 42 shots faced.
Detroit took a 1-0 lead just 4:37 into the game when a battle in front of the Phoenix net knocked the puck away from Tellqvist. Hudler then came in from the left side and tapped the puck it into the wide-open net to notch his first tally of the season.
After the Red Wings had another goal waved off, the Coyotes battled back to tie it at 12:45. Peter Mueller set up the goal when he fed a pass to Reinprecht in the slot. Reinprecht then barreled toward the crease and ripped the puck past Hasek into the top corner of the net.
Phoenix skated to the first intermission with a 2-1 lead, however, as Mike York set up a screen in front of Hasek, allowing Morris to rifle a slap shot past the netminder with 2:45 remaining.
The Red Wings bounced back to tie the score at 2-2 in the second period, as Chris Chelios' shot from the point was tipped home by Maltby with 8:34 left.
Then, with just 26 seconds to play in the stanza, Maltby lit the lamp again when he took a pass from Zetterberg and blasted a slap shot from the top of the right circle that beat Tellqvist.
Lebda gave the Red Wings an insurance goal at 4:57 of the third period, as Matt Ellis fed the puck from behind the net and Ledba ripped the disc into the twine to give his team a 4-2 edge.
Zetterberg beat Tellqvist on a wrist shot with 5:23 left in the contest.
Red Wings forward Dallas Drake missed the game after injuring his cheekbone on Thursday...The Red Wings have won five straight against the Coyotes by a combined 23-7 score. Detroit is 10-1-0 with three ties in its last 14 visits to Arizona.
