NHL Game Summary - Vancouver at Colorado

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Rookie Wojtek Wolski scored a goal and had three assists, to lead the Colorado Avalanche past the Vancouver Canucks, 4-1, at the Pepsi Center.
Fellow rookie Paul Stastny added a goal and had two assists while Jose Theodore made 28 saves for the Avalanche, who have won two straight and four of their last five overall.
Kevin Bieksa tallied the lone goal for Vancouver and Roberto Luongo allowed four goals on 39 shots for the Canucks, who have dropped two in a row.
The Avalanche got on the board first, scoring 11:25 into the opening period. Wolski dashed into the Vancouver zone up the left wing and centered the puck to a streaking Mark Rycroft, who tipped the puck into the net for his second goal of the season.
With 2:15 remaining in the first, Colorado went up 2-0 after a goal by Stastny. Wolski controlled the puck behind the Vancouver net and from the left side of the cage, centered the puck to Stastny, who one-timed the disc past Luongo.
The Canucks scored 35 seconds into the third frame to make it 2-1. Markus Naslund scooped up a loose puck in the right corner and moved the disc up to Bieksa at the right point. Bieksa then fluttered a snap shot that beat a screened Theodore for his fourth goal of the season.
Colorado regained its two-goal lead at 7:29 of the third with a power-play goal by Wolski. From the right point, Patrice Brisebois unleashed a wrister that Wolski tipped past Luongo.
Brett Clark netted a power-play goal late in the third period to cap the scoring.
Colorado has swept all three meetings from Vancouver this season and has taken seven of the last 10 clashes overall...The Avs went 2-for-7 on the power play while the Canucks failed to score in two chances with the man advantage...Colorado visits Calgary on Tuesday while Vancouver hosts Columbus the same night.
