NHL Game Summary - Florida at Tampa Bay

Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Ruslan Fedotenko posted a goal and an assist as Tampa Bay downed Florida, 4-1, in the back end of a home-and-home series.
Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis and Dimitry Afanasenkov each scored for the Lightning, who ended a three-game losing skid. Goaltender Marc Denis finished with 23 saves.
Steve Weiss scored the lone goal for the Panthers, who beat the Lightning 3-2 at the Bank Atlantic Center in the set's opener on Friday.
Ed Belfour made 32 saves for Florida in the loss.
Chris Gratton was whistled for hooking early in the first period and the Lightning were able to capitalize when Lecavalier's shot from the point beat a screened Belfour just 4:20 into the contest.
Florida managed to even the score on Weiss' power-play goal with 3:19 left in the first. Mike Van Ryn, stationed at the point, sent a pass down low to Weiss that the forward tipped past Denis.
Tampa Bay, though, took advantage of a 5-on-3 power play in the second period to regain the lead.
Brad Richards fired a shot from the point that Belfour was able to get a pad on. However, Dan Boyle collected the rebound and dropped it right in front of the net for St. Louis, who stuffed it home to make it 2-1 with 11:30 left in period.
The Lightning then got two goals in a 22 second span in the third period to take a comfortable three-goal lead. With 10:58 left in the third, Fedotenko skated the puck into the Florida zone along the left boards and fired a wrister that beat Belfour top shelf.
Then, with 10:36 left in regulation, Afanasenkov scored on a wrap-around from behind the net to make it 4-1.
Tampa Bay went 2-for-6 on the power play, while Florida finished 1-for-6 with the man-advantage...St. Louis' goal was his first point of the season...The Lightning will host Carolina on Monday...Florida will visit Washington on Monday.
