NHL Game Summary - Buffalo at Calgary

Calgary, AB (Sports Network) - Robyn Regehr scored early in the second period to lift the Calgary Flames to a 4-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres at the Saddledome.
Darren McCarty, Kristian Huselius and Shean Donovan each lit the lamp for the Flames, who have won three in a row. Tony Amonte had two assists in the win.
Miikka Kiprusoff turned aside 29 shots for the Flames.
Maxim Afinogenov scored the lone goal for Buffalo, losers of two straight.
Martin Biron made 33 saves in defeat.
After Afinogenov tied the game at 1-1 late in the first period, Regehr put the Flames ahead for good with a power-play goal.
Huselius then found the back of the net on the power play, giving Calgary a 3-1 advantage midway through the second period.
"We worked hard and it was a good win for us," Huselius said.
Donovan's empty-netter at the 18:58 mark of the third period completed the scoring.
Calgary finished 2-for-6 on the power play and killed off each of Buffalo's five chances with the man advantage...Buffalo is 8-3-2 in the last 13 versus the Flames.
