Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Kyle Calder scored two power-play goals to help the Chicago Blackhawks past the Los Angeles Kings, 3-2, at the United Center.

The Blackhawks opened the scoring with two power-play goals separated by 54 seconds late in the first period.
Bell made a centering pass from the right circle to Martin Lapointe. His wrist shot was stopped by Garon, but the rebound went right to Calder, who slammed it home with two minutes left.
Just 54 seconds later Tyler Arnason brought the puck into the zone on a rush and sent a pass to Ellison. His one-timer from the left side found the back of the net for his third goal of the season.
Calder got his second power-play goal of the night at the 9:34 mark of the second period. Jaroslav Spacek sent a shot from the left point and the rebound went to Bell on the left side. Garon made the save on his shot, but the puck trickled between his pads and Calder tapped it in.
The Kings finally got on the board late in the third period. Sean Avery made a pass from the left boards to Michael Cammalleri at the right point. His wrist shot was deflected by Belanger in front of the net past Khabibulin with 5:54 left in the game.
Los Angeles pulled its goaltender with 1:34 left and got a goal from Demitra with 1.5 seconds to play.
"We haven't played particularly well in the past four or five games," said Kings coach Andy Murray. "This is the first time we've lost two in a row. We can't point fingers and we can't make excuses. We made poor decisions, no loose puck intensity, looked sloppy, people were falling down. Everyone goes through phases, hopefully we will snap out of it."
