NHL Game Summary - Anaheim at Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Luc Robitaille tallied the game-winning goal and Jason LaBarbera made 29 saves as the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, 3-1, at Staples Center.
Michael Cammalleri and Craig Conroy also scored goals, Lubomir Visnovsky notched his eighth assist and LaBarbera improved his early-season record to 5-0 for Los Angeles, which won for the fourth time in its last five games.
Andy McDonald scored his second goal of the year and Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 30 of 33 shots for Anaheim, which lost for the fourth time in its last five games.
The Kings got on the scoreboard with 10 seconds left in the first period while on the two-man advantage after Cammalleri picked up a rebound and beat Bryzgalov stick-side high to give Los Angeles a 1-0 lead. Pavol Demitra took a slap shot from the right circle but Bryzgalov made a chest save. The rebound kicked out to Cammalleri in the slot, where he wristed the puck into the back of the net.
Los Angeles pushed its lead to 2-0 with 3:01 left in the second period after Robitaille deflected the puck over Bryzgalov's left shoulder. Joe Corvo took a slap shot from the left point that ricocheted off Derek Armstrong's body, then off Robitaille's extended stick and over Bryzgalov's glove for the goal.
Anaheim pulled within one midway through the third period after McDonald beat LaBarbera with a wrist shot from the left circle through the five hole. McDonald jumped off the bench to join a Ducks rush into the Kings' zone. Todd Fedoruk backhanded a pass cross ice to McDonald, who beat LaBarbera to cut L.A.'s lead to 2-1.
The Kings were awarded a power play with just over two minutes left in the game to help smother any chance of an Anaheim comeback.
Los Angeles added an insurance goal with 16 seconds left in the game after Conroy gathered a loose puck in the slot and ripped a wrist shot over Bryzgalov's shoulder into the upper right corner of the net to make it 3-1.
This was the first of eight games this season between the Kings and the Ducks...The Ducks are without a win in their last five road games (0-4-1)...The Kings are yet to trail after two periods this season...It was the Kings' fifth consecutive home win over Anaheim.
