NHL Game Summary - Los Angeles at Dallas

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Philippe Boucher's game-winning goal came with 4:46 left in the third period, as the Dallas Stars scored five unanswered goals to come back and beat the Los Angeles Kings, 5-4, in the season opener for both teams at AmericanAirlines Center.
Sergei Zubov tallied two goals and an assist for the Stars, who remained unbeaten in their last nine opening games (6-0-3). Jason Arnott posted a goal and three assists in the win, while Bill Guerin added a goal and a helper.
Jeremy Roenick scored two goals in his debut for the Kings. Roenick was traded to Los Angeles by Philadelphia to make room for the Flyers new arrival, Peter Forsberg.
Sean Avery and Dustin Brown also scored for the Kings.
Mathieu Garon stopped 25 shots for LA, while Marty Turco turned aside 16 for the Stars.
The Kings jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first period before Dallas charged back with three goals in the third.
The Stars would tie the game at 4-4 on Guerin's goal at 10:13 of the third period. Stephane Robidas slapped a shot from the top of the right circle and Guerin was just outside the crease to deflect it past Garon.
Boucher was credited with the game-winner just over five minutes later. He tried to send a pass into the crease and the puck hit off the skate of Kings forward Ken Belanger before crossing the goal line.
Roenick started the scoring on his goal just 1:02 into the game. He slapped a shot from just above the right circle to beat a screened Turco. LA then grabbed a two-goal lead just 32 second later, as Avery whacked a puck out of mid-air past the goaltender.
Roenick scored again, this time on the power play, at 4:18 of the period. He wristed a shot from a tough angle to the left of Turco and the puck somehow found its way into the net.
The Kings pushed their cushion to four goals with just nine seconds left in the period when Dustin Brown took a pass from Pavol Demitra and snapped a shot past Turco.
Arnott started Dallas' comeback with a tally at 3:03 of the second period. Zubov slid a pass into the left circle and Arnott one-timed a shot past Garon.
Zubov scored a little over a minute later on a wrister from the left circle to make it 4-2. He then scored his second goal of the contest at 6:48 of the second to make it a one-goal game.
The Stars are 15-13-10 in season-opening games...LA is 16-13-9 in its first game of the season...Roenick scored his goal on the first registered shot of the game...The Kings were 1-for-4 on the power play; Dallas finished 2-for-12.
