Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Joffrey Lupul scored twice in the third period to lead Anaheim to a 4-2 win over Edmonton at the Pond.

"It was great to get a couple of goals, especially against the Oilers," said Lupul, an Edmonton native.

Anaheim, which held a 13-9 shots advantage during a scoreless first period, took a 2-0 edge in the second period.
Midway through the second, Havelid opened the scoring on the power play. He flipped a soft wrist from the right faceoff circle shot past Salo at 9:10 of the period.

Early in the third period, the Oilers pulled within 2-1 on Cross' seventh tally of the season. He beat Giguere on a low shot from the left point 26 seconds into the third.

"If the young guys aren't going to score they are going to get sent down," Anaheim coach Mike Babcock said. "I told [Lupul] that today. I guess I should have told him that two weeks ago."
