NHL Game Summary - Florida at Boston

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Roberto Luongo stopped 43 shots, including a penalty shot, to lead Florida to a 2-1 win over Boston at the Fleet Center.
Luongo turned away 12 shots in the first period, 13 in the second and 18 in the third for the Panthers, who have won two straight and snapped a four-game winless streak in the series (1-2-2). Juraj Kolnik and Valeri Bure both scored in the first period.
"Luongo played extremely well," Boston coach Mike Sullivan said. "We couldn't seem to get it by him."
Patrice Bergeron scored for the Bruins, who lost their second straight game and suffered their third loss in the last 12 (8-3-1) despite a 44-26 shot advantage. Andrew Raycroft made 24 saves.
Florida, which snapped a three-game road winless streak (1-2-1), scored both its goals on the power play in the first.
Kolnik delivered his sixth goal on the power play four minutes into the game when he re-directed a shot from the point.
Bure converted on a one-timer from the right faceoff circle 7:43 later. Olli Jokinen set Bure up with a pass from the left circle.
Early in the third period, Luongo took a slapshot off his right shoulder. Despite a visit from the Florida trainer, he stayed in the game.
"I was hurting," Luongo said. "But I was good enough to stay in the game."
Boston's P.J. Axelsson was awarded a penalty shot with 6:28 remaining in the third period with his team shorthanded. But he couldn't beat Luongo.
Bergeron jammed in his 14th goal for the Bruins, who had an extra skater on the ice, to bring them within 2-1 with 1:16 remaining.
The goal denied Luongo his fourth shutout of the season and 20th shutout of his career.
The Bruins fell to 5-2-1 in their last eight at home...Lukas Krajicek assisted on both goals for Florida, which improved to 7-11-5-1 on the road...Luongo has stopped 3-of-3 penalty shots in his career...The Panthers last win in Boston came on January 22, 2001.
