NHL Game Summary - Chicago at Minnesota

St. Paul, MN (Sports Network) - Eric Chouinard scored two goals to lead Minnesota over Chicago, 7-4, at the Xcel Energy Center.
The Wild won for the first time in eight games (1-2-5) since beating Columbus on December 20.
Tyler Arnason posted two goals for the Blackhawks, who lost for the fourth time in five games (1-3-0-1). Chicago has not won a road game since beating Nashville on November 7.
The Wild trailed 4-2, but closed out the game with five unanswered goals for the victory. At 13:18 of the second period, Nick Schultz started the comeback with his second goal of the season via a wrist from behind the right circle.
Then just 3:02 into the third period, Richard Park tied the game at 4-4 for the Wild. Michael Leighton went out to clear the puck from behind the net and failed to get back in on time as Park took advantage of a slapper from the right circle into an empty net.
Chouinard's second of the game and fifth of the season put the home team ahead for the first time in the game at 9:58 on a wrister from the slot.
Pascal Dupuis recorded his eighth goal of the campaign on a snap shot at 11:51 before Antti Laaksonen capped off the scoring on an empty-net tally with 1:29 to play.
Leighton only made 12 saves for the Blackhawks en route to the defeat, while Minnesota won with two guys between the pipes. Dwayne Roloson picked up the win by stopping 15-of-16 shots. Manny Fernandez was pulled in the second period after turning away 10-of-13 shots.
Igor Korolev opened the scoring for Chicago 3:08 into the game, but Jason Wiemer tied the contest for Minnesota with a wrist shot at 8:48.
Arnason and Mark Bell each lit the lamp in the first four minutes of the second frame to put the Blackhawks ahead 3-1.
Chouinard trimmed the deficit to 3-2 for the Wild at 4:32, but just over three minutes later, Arnason tallied his ninth of the season to extend the Chicago edge to 4-2.
The Blackhawks, 3-15-3-1 on the road, return home for Thursday's game against the Calgary Flames...The Wild, 8-9-4 at home this season, opened a five-game stand in this one...Minnesota is 4-1-1 in the last six matchups overall and the Blackhawks have dropped three straight and five of their last six in St. Paul...All 11 goals were at even strength...Chouinard scored his first goals for the Wild since coming to Minnesota last month in a trade with the Flyers.
