NHL Game Summary - Edmonton at Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Radek Dvorak scored the game-tying goal with 7:46 left in the third period, as the Edmonton Oilers and Phoenix Coyotes skated to a 3-3 tie at America West Arena.
Sean Burke made 39 saves, as the Coyotes ran their unbeaten streak to three games against Edmonton. It was the second straight game that Burke made 39 saves, as he also did so in Phoenix's 2-1 win over Dallas on Wednesday night.
Tommy Salo made 18 saves for Edmonton, which fell to 1-3-2 in its last six contests.
Phoenix took a 3-2 lead with nine and half minutes left in the game when Fredrik Sjostrom scored on a one-timer. Sjostrom was set up on a perfect cross pass from Jeff Taffe.
Oiler forward Fernando Pisani scored the first goal of the final period to tie it at 2-2 on a deflection from Scott Ferguson's blue-line slapshot.
Edmonton jumped on top first in the opening period with Ryan Smyth's even- strength goal at the 4:08 mark. Burke had a busy first period with 12 saves on 13 shots faced.
The Coyotes rebounded in the second 20 minutes with Ladislav Nagy's and Daymond Langkow's goals. Both goals were assisted by Shane Doan. Burke and Salo each made 10 saves in the period.
Phoenix is 6-4-2 at home this season and have lost only once in its last seven...The Oilers have won only twice in their last 11 games...Phoenix has been outshot 305-183 in its last eight games, but is 4-1-3 during that span...Doan has 11 goals and 18 assists in 29 games for an average of one point a game...Adam Oates moved into 35th place in NHL history for games played with 1,284...It marked only the second time in the eight games that the Oilers scored more than two goals.
