Final Score: Tampa Bay 2, Atlanta 1

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - J.P. Vigier tallied a power-play goal with 4:57 remaining in the third period to complete the comeback as the Atlanta Thrashers defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1.

The win allowed the Thrashers (12-9-3-1, 28 points) to leap-frog the Lightning (11-4-4-1, 27 points) for first place in the Southeast division.

Slava Kozlov scored the other goal for the Thrashers, who won for the first time in three games. Pasi Nurminen stopped 27-of-28 shots and is now tied for second in the league in wins with Martin Brodeur (12). Colorado's David Aebischer had 13.

Dan Boyle scored the lone goal for the Lightning, who are winless in their last four (0-2-2). John Grahame, playing in his 100th career game, made 18 saves in a losing effort.

Vigier perfectly re-directed Frantisek Kaberle's low shot past Grahame for the game-winner, his fourth of the year. Patrik Stefan had the secondary assist rushing the puck in and leaving it for Kaberle.

Boyle started the scoring with his second of the season 11:23 into the first when he blistered one low past the stick side of Nurminen.

The Thrashers finally answered back at 4:48 of the third period. Kozlov tallied his eighth of the year when he beat a screened Grahame high to the stick side. Ilya Kovalchuk dropped the puck back to Kozlov and then drove to the net to create the traffic in front.
