NHL Game Summary - Phoenix at Dallas

(Friday, November 14th)

Final Score: Phoenix 3, Dallas 3

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Rob DiMaio gave Dallas a third-period lead, but Jan Hrdina tallied for Phoenix as the Stars and Coyotes skated to a 3-3 tie at American Airlines Center.

Radoslav Suchy had a goal and an assist for Phoenix, which played its fourth straight overtime game (2-0-1-1). Krystofer Kolanos had two assists and Brian Boucher made 32 saves for the Coyotes.

DiMaio scored with a blast from the right circle at 12:34 of the third period. The goal came shorthanded and gave the Stars a 3-2 edge.

Hrdina redirected a centering pass from Ladislav Nagy past Turco with 50 seconds left in the third period to force the extra session.

Boucher made 10 saves in a scoreless first period and Branko Radivojevic opened the scoring to give Phoenix a 1-0 lead at 11:58 of the middle stanza on a power play.

Scott Young's power-play goal at 15:42 of the second period evened the contest at a goal apiece.

Each team scored twice in the third period. Bill Guerin put the Stars on top for the first time with his second goal of the season at 7:38 of the third, but Suchy's fifth tally of the campaign knotted the contest at 2-2 at 9:28.
