NHL Game Summary - Boston at Columbus

Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Glen Murray scored twice and Felix Potvin stopped 24 shots for his second shutout of the season to lead the Boston Bruins to a 4-0 victory over Columbus.
Dan McGillis and Brian Rolston each had a goal and an assist for the Bruins, who have won three straight and are unbeaten in their last four (3-0-1).
Columbus has dropped its last two games.
The Bruins outshot Columbus, 14-3, in the opening period and scored four goals to take control of the contest. McGillis beat Blue Jackets goaltender Marc Denis with a blistering wrist shot from the right circle to begin the scoring at 5:09.
Later in the stanza, Joe Thornton picked up the first of his two assists with a pass to Murray, who beat Denis to the far side with a blast from the left circle. The power-play tally at 6:46 gave the Bruins a 2-0 lead.
Denis got a piece of Rolston's shot, but the puck got through the netminder's pads and trickled into the net at 14:25 for a three-goal advantage.
Murray's second goal of the frame at 18:23 of the first period gave Boston a 4-0 cushion.
Fred Brathwaite replaced Denis after the first intermission and stopped all seven shots fired his way in the second period and six more in the third.
After facing just three shots in the opening stanza, Potvin turned away 12 in the second period and nine in the final period for his 30th career shutout.
The Bruins are unbeaten in regulation in their last eight games (5-0-1-2)...Denis surrendered four goals on 14 shots...Boston has won three straight in the series...Columbus played without centers Espen Knutsen and Todd Marchant.
