NHL Game Summary - Nashville at Dallas

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Bill Guerin notched a hat trick in his second consecutive home game and added an assist to lead Dallas to a 7-3 win over Nashville in the second of a home-and-home series at American Airlines Center.
Niko Kapanen, Brenden Morrow, Jason Arnott and Mike Modano each posted a goal and an assist for the Stars, who are unbeaten in their last four (3-0-1). Marty Turco turned away 21 of 24 shots.
Marek Zidlicky, Kimmo Timonen and Scott Walker each scored for the Predators, who lost for the first time and three games (1-1-1).
The teams played to a 1-1 tie Saturday in Nashville.
In the rematch, Dallas led 2-0 after one period. Guerin notched his seventh goal of the season 1:16 into the game. He took a pass from Arnott and beat Tomas Vokoun with a shot from above the right circle.
Modano followed with his third goal 7:30 later. He converted a one-timer from the right circle.
Meanwhile, the Predators received a two-man advantage with 5:45 left in the period, but couldn't convert.
Morrow's power-play goal 2:13 into the second period opened a 3-0 edge for Dallas. Sergei Zubov's shot, from the point, bounced out to Stu Barnes in the left slot. Barnes pushed the puck toward a prone Vokoun, before Morrow slapped it into the net.
A goal by Zidlicky, at 6:49 of the second, got the Predators within 3-1. Martin Erat delivered a pass below the right circle to Zidlicky, who converted on a backhand shot.
Guerin and Zubov executed a give-and-go to regain a three-goal advantage for the Stars at 11:11. Zubov, stationed in the right circle, pushed the puck toward the left circle to Guerin, who beat Vokoun with a wrist shot.
Timonen posted a power-play goal from the high slot to get Nashville within 4-2 with 4:12 left in the period.
Kapanen, Guerin and Arnott capped the Stars' scoring in the third. Kapanen delivered an unassisted goal 4:20 into the period. Guerin completed his fifth career hat trick 1:09 later.
Arnott beat Predators goaltender Chris Mason with a slap shot at 9:31 of the period.
Mason replaced Vokoun, who finished with 16 saves, early in the third period. Mason made 10 saves.
Walker added a power-play goal with 27 seconds to go for Nashville.
Zubov registered three assists and a Barnes contributed two for Dallas...Brett Hull was the last Star to notch back-to-back hat tricks in home games, doing it on March 18 & 21, 2001...The Stars allowed two power-play goals in a game for the first time this season...Vladimir Orszagh finished with two assists for the Predators...All of Guerin's nine goals this season have come at home...Stars defenseman Richard Matvichuk left in the second period with a lower leg contusion.
