Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Keith Tkachuk scored the 400th and 401st goals of his career to lead St. Louis over Colorado, 2-1, at the Pepsi Center.
Chris Osgood stopped 39 shots for the Blues, who picked up their first win of the season after falling in overtime to Phoenix in their opener.

Tkachuk opened up the scoring at 16:13 of the first period with a power-play goal. Tkachuk got to a loose puck at the left side of the net and beat David Aebischer short-side.
Colorado outshot St. Louis 19-3 in the second period, but still trailed 1-0 heading into the final stanza.
Kariya scored his second goal of the season for his new team 4:23 into the third to tie the game at 1-1. On the power play, Kariya got credit for the goal after banking the puck off a defenseman's skate.
But then at 6:47 of the final stanza, Tkachuk received a pass from Pavol Demitra at the right side of the net and pushed the puck past Aebischer for the go-ahead goal.
Aebischer made 24 saves for Colorado.
The Avs struggled on the power play, scoring just once with seven opportunities.
St. Louis will visit Nashville Thursday before holding its home opener two nights later against Washington...Colorado will open a brief road trip Thursday in Minnesota. The tilt will be a rematch of last spring's opening- round series that saw the Wild upset the Avs in seven games.
