St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - Chris Mason stopped 19 shots for his first shutout of the season, as St. Louis clipped Minnesota, 1-0, at Scottrade Center.
T.J. Oshie provided the lone score for the Blues, who have won three in a row.
Josh Harding made 36 saves in defeat for the Wild, whose four-game win streak was halted.
Oshie finally broke a scoreless tie 26 seconds into the third period, and Mason made the slim edge stand with 10 stops over the final 20 minutes.
Harding withstood an 18-shot St. Louis barrage in the first period, then stopped 10 more in the second to keep the home team at bay.
Mason has 19 career whitewashes and seven with the Blues...Both teams are in action Saturday with St. Louis hosting the Rangers and Minnesota continuing its road trip in Phoenix.
