NHL Game Summary - Vancouver at Phoenix

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Lauri Korpikoski notched the lone goal in the shootout as Phoenix nipped Vancouver, 3-2.
Korpikoski began the third and final round with a successful wrister, then Jason LaBarbera stopped Mikael Samuelsson's shot with his pads to end the contest.
Ed Jovanovski and Petr Prucha scored in regulation for the Coyotes, who set a franchise record with their 10th consecutive home win. LaBarbera stopped 28 shots for the win.
Samuelsson and Kyle Wellwood tallied for the Canucks, whose three-game win streak came to an end. Roberto Luongo was the hard-luck loser with 23 saves.
Jovanovski's power-play score gave the Coyotes a lead at the exact midway point of regulation.
Samuelsson responded for the Canucks inside a minute later, but Prucha's score just under three minutes left in the second gave Phoenix a one-goal lead once again.
Wellwood's fourth of the year tied the game at 2-2 with 6:12 left in regulation, and the Coyotes held on in the final 51 seconds of regulation and the first 1:09 of overtime while shorthanded.
Phoenix improved to 4-2 in shootouts this season and Vancouver fell to 2-1...The previous club-record win streak was nine in a row, first set from December 27, 1992-January 23, 1993 when the team was called the Winnipeg Jets.
