Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - Brian Elliott posted his second shutout of the season with 22 saves to lead Ottawa past Buffalo, 2-0, at Scotiabank Place.

Ottawa took a 1-0 lead with 1:37 left in the first period, as Picard's floater from the bottom of the left circle sailed through traffic in front and past Miller.
Elliott and Miller stopped seven shots apiece in a scoreless second period.
