It was a very competitive game again; we competed hard, and we found away to hang around the game, and we found a way to get two points."
Colin Fraser had the lone goal in regulation for the Blackhawks, who are winless in three straight. Huet made 21 saves in defeat.
"Trying to win the game 2-1, would have been nothing wrong with that," said Chicago head coach Joel Quenneville. "We have to fight through the (frustration), knowing that checking is going to be a priority from here on out. Finding a way to win 2-1, there's nothing wrong with that."
Chicago drew first blood at 4:46 of the first period. LaBarbera made a left pad save on Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith, but Fraser stashed the rebound.
