Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Sergei Samsonov scored with 52 seconds
remaining in overtime to lift the Boston Bruins past the Mighty Ducks of
Anaheim, 4-3, at the Pond.
Boston forced overtime when Mike Knuble tallied his second goal of the game
with 4:25 left in the third period.
Brian Rolston also found the net for Boston, which rallied for three goals in
the third period Saturday to defeat Los Angeles. Andrew Raycroft turned aside
26 shots for the Bruins, who improved to 3-0-1 in their last four games.
Steve Rucchin tallied a pair of goals and Vaclav Prospal chipped in a goal and
an assist for the Mighty Ducks, who picked up their first point of the season
(0-4-0-1). Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 26 saves for Anaheim.
On the game-winning goal, Jeff Jillson stole a clearing pass and fed a pass to
Samsonov in the left corner. Samsonov then cut to the net and beat Giguere to
the glove side for his second goal of the year.
The Bruins went to the power play with 4:44 left as Niclas Havelid was
whistled for hooking. It took just 19 seconds for Knuble to tie the contest
at 3-3, as he took a drop pass from Glen Murray and rifled a shot from the
top of the right circle past Giguere.
Raycroft had kept it a one-goal game a few minutes earlier when he stoned Andy

The Ducks have been outscored 16-5 in their five games this season...Boston
