Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Pekka Rinne made 29 saves to notch his fifth
shutout of the season, as Nashville downed Vancouver, 3-0, at Rogers Arena.
Blake Geoffrion and Patric Hornqvist both tallied for the Predators, who won
for the second time in seven games. David Legwand added an empty-netter in the

Roberto Luongo yielded two goals on 28 shots as the Canucks wrapped up a six-

The Predators got the insurance goal with 2:21 left, after Hornqvist poked the
disc away from a Vancouver defender. He gained possession of the puck just
before pushing it to his backhand for the finish past Luongo's outstretched
Legwand's empty-netter with 35 ticks left sealed the win for the visitors.
The Predators snapped a three-game road losing streak...Both teams were 0-
for-2 on the power play...Rinne made 12 saves in the third period to preserve
the win and the shutout.
