Blackhawks responded 34 seconds later. Brouwer held the puck below the right
circle and sent a pass that deflected in off the stick of Minnesota defenseman
"It was an unlucky bounce for us," Wild forward Martin Havlat said.
Jake Dowell's empty-netter sealed the win with 59 seconds remaining.
Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville missed Wednesday's game after being
admitted to a Chicago-area hospital in the morning with an undisclosed medical
condition...Chicago's Marian Hossa had two assists...Brouwer notched his 100th
NHL point...Havlat played in his 600th career game.
