the Wells Fargo Center.
Chris Pronger added a pair of power-play goals for the Flyers, who have won
three straight and four of their last five games. Kimmo Timonen had a goal and
two assists, and rookie Sergei Bobrovsky made 30 saves.
"Our shots from the point were getting through," said Philly center Danny
Briere. "Our guys in front of the net did a very good job, so that's
encouraging. We knew with guys like Kimmo and Prongs, especially back there,

"You know, we come out of the gates flying and now have kind of hit this wall
and its something we can't let slide and just say it's going to fix itself,"
said New York winger Trent Hunter. "We're the only guys who can fix it, the
guys in the room and we've got to start playing through each other and playing
with a little more fire and come out of the gates flying."
Timonen fired the puck off a prone DiPietro to open the scoring 2:36 into the
contest. It was the first goal scored by a Flyers defenseman this season.
Carter made it 2-0 when his stoppable shot from the left circle found the back

The Flyers lit the lamp four times in the middle stanza.
Carter beat DiPietro again at 2:55, and a blast from the point by Pronger on
the power play gave Philadelphia a four-goal lead at 4:32.

Meszaros into the boards, resulting in a five-minute major and game

a scuffle ensued.
On the subsequent two-man advantage, Nielsen was hauled down by Pronger and
awarded a penalty shot which he converted at 8:09.
