Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - Sheldon Souray had a goal and an assist as the Edmonton Oilers downed the Dallas Stars, 4-1, at Rexall Place.

Andrew Cogliano, Erik Cole and Dustin Penner each had a goal for the Oilers, who have won four of their last six games. Dwayne Roloson made 38 saves in the win.

James Neal scored the lone goal while Marty Turco was charged with four goals on 19 shots in the loss for the Stars, who had won three of four coming into the game.

The Oilers jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the 8:41 mark of the first period as Cole's snap shot got past Turco.

Just 56 seconds later, Edmonton took a 2-0 lead as Souray found the back of the net for his 12th goal of the season.

The Oilers made it a 3-0 game at the 7:23 mark of the second period on Penner's power-play goal, his 10th marker of the season.

However, Dallas got on the board with 2:14 left in the second as Neal scored his 13th goal of the season to make it a 3-1 contest.

Cogliano notched his 11th goal of the season with a wrister past Turco for a 4-1 lead with 5:16 to play in the game.

Edmonton hosts the New York Islanders on Monday...Dallas plays in Vancouver on Sunday...Edmonton has won two straight against Dallas after dropping the previous seven contests...Edmonton went 1-for-4 on the power play while Dallas finished the game scoreless in five chances...Shawn Horcoff had two assists for the Oilers with the second assist giving him 200 helpers in his career.
