Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Sabres inked backup goaltender Jhonas Enroth to a multi-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 23-year-old Stockholm native completed his first full NHL campaign with a 9-2-2 record, 2.73 goals-against average and one shutout over 14 games.

In a 3-2 shootout victory at Montreal on February 15, Enroth set a record by becoming the first netminder in league history to post his first three career victories in the shootout.
