Description: Jenny Vrentas of the Star-Ledger is reporting that the Giants have signed free agent Kregg Lumpkin to replace Andre Brown in the backfield. Lumpkin played for Tampa Bay in 2011 and averaged 3.4 ypc on 31 attempts and also caught 41 balls for 291 yards.
Insight: Ahmad Bradshaw should get a bigger piece of the pie from here on out with David Willson getting most of the rest. Lumpkin would be primarily an insurance policy.
