Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Patriots signed linebacker Dont'a Hightower on Thursday.
Hightower was selected by the Patriots with the 25th overall pick in this year's draft.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pound Alabama product was a unanimous All-SEC first-team selection in 2011. Hightower started 42 of 44 games over four years at Alabama.
