Idaho's Jackson takes weekly honors

New York, NY (Sports Network) - The Idaho Stampede's Pierre Jackson today was named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec.15.
Jackson, a 5-11, 176-pound guard from Baylor, led Idaho to a 3-0 week with each win coming on the road. He averaged 34.7 points on .492 shooting, to go along with 5.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists. He shot .462 from beyond the arc, connecting on 12-of-26 three-point attempts. On Dec. 14, Jackson tallied an NBA D-League season-high 49 points and tied the Idaho franchise record for free-throws made in a game with 16 in a 98-94 victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. This is the second time Jackson has been named NBA Development League Performer of the Week this season.
Other top performers considered include Austin's Flip Murray, Canton's Arinze Onuaku, Iowa's Othyus Jeffers, Maine's Chris Wright, Los Angeles' Manny Harris, Rio Grande Valley's James Johnson, Sioux Falls' Justin Hamilton, Texas' Devin Ebanks and Tulsa's Grant Jerrett.
