NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Saturday, March 29th (All times eastern)

Memphis Grizzlies (19-53) at Los Angeles Clippers (21-51), 10:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers will try to put the brakes on a 10-game losing streak tonight in the opener of a short homestand versus the Memphis Grizzlies at the Staples Center.

Los Angeles will also host Dallas, and is 12-24 at home this season. The Clippers are winless in their last three home games.

In Friday's 121-101 setback to the Utah Jazz in the finale of a three-game road trip at EnergySolutions Arena, Corey Maggette led the way with 28 points over the first three quarters. Chris Kaman tallied 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a losing cause for the reeling Clippers.

The Clippers' last win came on March 10 at Miami. They haven't lost 11 straight since a 13-game slide from March 17 - April 11, 2004.

Memphis will conclude a three-game road trip on Saturday, and is 6-30 away from home this season. The Grizzlies are 1-1 so far on the trek and recorded a 114-111 victory against the Lakers at the Staples Center on Friday despite Kobe Bryant's 53-point performance.

Rudy Gay scored 28 points and Darko Milicic ended with 22 points and 12 rebounds for Memphis, which stopped a two-game slide to win for the third time in five tries. Hakim Warrick totaled 16 points and Mike Miller had 10 and 10 rebounds in a winning effort.

The Grizzlies are now 2-19 in their last 21 road contests.

Los Angeles leads the 2007-08 season series with Memphis by a 2-1 count, and has won five of six and six of the previous 10 encounters.

Memphis is winless in its last three as the visitor in this series.
