Saturday, March 29th (All times eastern)

Phoenix Suns (48-24) at New Jersey Nets (31-42), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns will close out a four-game road trip tonight, when they take on the New Jersey Nets at the Izod Center.

Phoenix dropped the first two tests of the trek at Detroit and Boston, but rebounded with Friday's 107-93 victory over Philadelphia from the Wachovia Center. Amare Stoudemire scored 22 points, grabbed seven rebounds and blocked five shots to lead Phoenix.

Raja Bell poured in 20 points and dished out seven assists against his former team for the Suns, who snapped a two-game skid and sit sixth in the Western Conference playoff race. The Suns are also a half game behind the Los Angeles Lakers for the top spot in the Pacific Division.

Leandro Barbosa and Boris Diaw chipped in 17 points apiece against Philly, while Shaquille O'Neal ended with 15 points and 13 boards. The Suns are 22-14 away from US Airways Center this season.

New Jersey will open a two-game homestand tonight against Phoenix and Philadelphia, and is 19-18 as the host this season. The Nets had a two-game winning streak stopped after Friday's 123-115 setback to the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Vine Carter poured in 33 points and nine rebounds for the Nets, who are 1 1/2 games behind eighth-seeded Atlanta in the East standings. Devin Harris contributed 27 points and nine assists in the loss, while Josh Boone added 15 points and a team-high 16 rebounds.

Phoenix posted a 116-92 win over New Jersey on January 20 this season at home, and has won three straight and seven of the last eight meetings in the series.

The Suns, though, have dropped five of their last seven contests at the Meadowlands.
