Denver Nuggets (42-28) at Memphis Grizzlies (18-51), 8 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The playoff-hopeful Denver Nuggets conclude a five-game road trip when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at FedExForum.
Denver is 1 1/2 games behind No. 8 Golden State for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference.
The Nuggets are 2-2 on the swing and have won their last two contests. On Sunday, Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony each eclipsed the 30-point mark and the Nuggets notched an important comeback win, escaping Toronto with a 109-100 victory over the Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
Iverson poured in 36 points to go along with six assists, while Anthony added 33 points and seven rebounds in the victory. J.R. Smith contributed 14 points for the Nuggets, who swept the two-game season series with the Raptors.
Denver is 14-21 on the road this season. The Nuggets return home to host Dallas on Thursday and Golden State on Saturday at the Pepsi Center.
Memphis tries to win a season-best third straight game. Rudy Gay scored 24 points and Juan Carlos Navarro netted 22 as the Grizzlies edged the Sacramento Kings, 117-111, on Saturday at FedExForum.
Navarro made 6-of-9 from three-point range for the Grizzlies, who have won three of four and picked up back-to-back wins for the first time since late November. Darko Milicic finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Hakim Warrick and Mike Miller scored 12 points apiece.
The Grizzlies are 13-22 at home this season. They will visit Sacramento on Wednesday at ARCO Arena in the first of a three-game road trip. Memphis will also play the Lakers and Clippers on the upcoming swing.
The Nuggets are 2-0 against Memphis this season, and have captured four of the last five contests in the series.
Denver has won two of three and four of its last six at Memphis.
