Charlotte Bobcats (19-37) at New York Knicks (17-39), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats attempt to put the brakes on a three- game losing streak when they visit the New York Knicks tonight at historic Madison Square Garden.
This is the second meeting of the campaign between the squads. On December 21st, Gerald Wallace scored 27 points to lead the Bobcats to a 105-95 win over the Knicks at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
Wallace is currently sidelined with post-concussion symptoms. He is averaging a team-best 20.6 points per game this season for Charlotte.
Charlotte, which has won three of the last four contests in the series, has won two of its last three at New York.
The Bobcats play the middle contest of a three-game road trip. On Saturday, Antawn Jamison scored 22 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out five assists to lead the Washington Wizards to a 110-95 victory over Charlotte at the Verizon Center.
Jason Richardson totaled 25 points in the loss for the Bobcats, who have dropped three in a row and 10 of their last 11 games overall. Emeka Okafor finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Jeff McInnis had 12 points in defeat.
Charlotte is 4-20 on the road this season. The Bobcats will visit the Boston Celtics on Friday at TD Banknorth Garden.
The Knicks also try to get back on the winning track. Andrea Bargnani had 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists as the Toronto Raptors dominated New York, 115-92, on Sunday at the Air Canada Centre.
Jamal Crawford ended with a game-high 26 points and six assists, while Nate Robinson poured in 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Knicks, who have dropped two of their last three games overall.
New York is 11-17 at home this season. The Knicks will visit Joe Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks on Friday at Philips Arena.
