Atlanta Hawks (22-30) at Utah Jazz (35-20), 9 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Northwest Division-leading Utah Jazz will try to get back on the winning track tonight, when they host the Atlanta Hawks at EnergySolutions Arena.
Utah, which is 1 1/2 games ahead of Denver in the division standings, had its three-game winning streak come to an end with Friday's 114-104 setback to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. Deron Williams scored 26 points and dished out 10 assists for the Jazz, who lost for only the second time in their last 15 contests.
Carlos Boozer chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Paul Millsap added 12 points and eight boards in defeat. The Jazz have won 13 straight as the host and own a remarkable 23-3 record in Salt Lake City this season. The last time Utah lost at home was versus Boston on December 29.
The Hawks will resume a six-game road trip on Saturday and are 7-19 away from Philips Arena this season. They are 1-3 so far on the trek and put the brakes on a six-game slide with Friday's 117-110 victory over the Golden State Warriors at ORACLE Arena.
Joe Johnson ended with 27 points, eight rebounds and a game-high eight assists, while Mike Bibby and Josh Smith both had 17 points for the Hawks, who will also visit San Antonio on the current swing.
Marvin Williams added 10 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds, as Atlanta snapped a seven-game skid as the guest. In injury news for the Hawks, guard Acie Law (wrist) is doubtful for Saturday's game.
The Hawks defeated Utah, 116-111, on December 17 at Philips Arena to halt a nine-game losing streak in the series. The Jazz have won 16 of 19 and 20 of the last 25 encounters with Atlanta, which has dropped 13 in a row at Utah.
