NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Friday, April 11th (All times eastern)

Milwaukee Bucks (26-52) at Boston Celtics (62-16), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Boston Celtics are preparing for a big run in this year's playoffs, as they take on the weak Milwaukee Bucks tonight at TD Banknorth Garden.

The top-seeded Celtics will put its four-game home winning streak on the line tonight, and own a fabulous 33-6 mark as the host this season. Boston, though, had a seven-game winning streak come to an end with Wednesday's 109-95 setback to the Washington Wizards in the finale of a three-game road trip at the Verizon Center.

Paul Pierce had 28 points and seven assists for the Celtics, who went 2-1 on the recent swing. Kevin Garnett scored 22 points and pulled down 14 boards in the loss, while Ray Allen finished with 13 points for Boston.

In injury news for the Celtics, guards Sam Cassell (back) and Rajon Rondo (illness) are both questionable for Friday. Forward Glen Davis is listed as probable with a hamstring problem.

Milwaukee has lost four straight, eight of 10 and 14 of its last 17 games, including Wednesday's 111-93 decision to the Toronto Raptors in the opener of a two-game road trip at the Air Canada Centre.

Charlie Villanueva scored a season-high 38 points and reeled in 12 rebounds for Milwaukee, which has dropped 10 of 11 and 17 of its last 19 contests as the guest. Michael Redd had 17 points and Bobby Simmons tallied 11 points and six boards in defeat.

The Bucks are 7-32 away from the Bradley Center this season.

Boston is 3-0 against Milwaukee this season and has won five of the previous seven meetings in this series.

Milwaukee has lost two of its last three games in Beantown.
