Los Angeles Lakers (33-17) at Charlotte Bobcats (18-33), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats will try to stop a six-game slide when they open a short two-game homestand tonight versus the Los Angeles Lakers at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

The Bobcats suffered their sixth straight loss after Sunday's 113-87 setback to the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Jason Richardson scored 27 points for the Bobcats, who have dropped nine of their last 11 games. Raymond Felton added 14 points and Nazr Muhammad 10 in a losing cause.

Charlotte will try to snap a four-game skid at home on Monday and is 14-15 as the host in 2007-08. The Bobcats will also welcome the Atlanta Hawks to town on the brief homestand.

On the injury from for the Bobcats, forward Gerald Wallace (foot) and guard Derek Anderson (knee) both missed Sunday's game against Detroit. Anderson is questionable for Monday, while Wallace is expected to miss at least a week.

Los Angeles will continue an nine-game road trip on Monday and are 5-1 so far on the trek. In Sunday's 104-94 win over the Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena, Kobe Bryant poured in 33 points and Pau Gasol finished with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Lamar Odom ended with 15 points, 18 rebounds and six assists for the Lakers, who are 16-10 away from the Staples Center this season. Los Angeles will wrap up the lengthy road trip on Wednesday at the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Monday's game between LA and Charlotte is the first of two meetings this season. The Lakers, who slated to host the Bobcats on March 26, have lost the last three meetings in this series.

The Lakers have also dropped two in a row at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
