NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Wednesday, April 2nd (All times eastern)

Cleveland Cavaliers (41-33) at Charlotte Bobcats (28-46), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to stop a six-game slide on the road when they pay a visit to the Charlotte Bobcats this evening.

The Cavaliers are 16-22 away from home this season, and haven't been victorious as the guest since March 5 against New York. They ended a three- game losing streak with a 91-88 victory over Philadelphia on Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena, as LeBron James ended with 26 points, nine rebounds and nine assists to keep the playoff-bound Cavs fourth in the East standings.

Delonte West had 18 points and 11 assists, while Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 14 points for Cleveland, which is three games ahead of both Washington and Toronto in the conference playoff race.

Cavs guard Daniel Gibson (ankle) and center Ben Wallace (back) are listed as questionable for Wednesday's game at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Meanwhile, Charlotte will wrap up a two-game homestand on Wednesday, and owns a 19-18 mark as the host this season. The Bobcats had a three-game overall winning streak stopped after Monday's 104-100 setback to the Toronto Raptors.

Jason Richardson scored 26 and grabbed six boards to lead Charlotte, which saw its four-game win streak at home come to an end. Emeka Okafor added 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks for the Bobcats.

Charlotte has won four of its last five home games. In team news, guard Derek Anderson (personal) is questionable against Cleveland.

Wednesday's showdown between the Cavs and Bobcats is the fourth and final meeting of the season. Cleveland leads the series, 2-1, and has won 11 of the 14 all-time meetings.

Cleveland has lost three straight after winning its first four contests on the road in this series.
