NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Saturday, February 2nd (All times eastern)

Chicago Bulls (18-21) at Sacramento Kings (21-24), 10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Chicago Bulls will resume their six-game road trip when they visit the Sacramento Kings this evening at ARCO Arena.

This is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the clubs. On January 5th, Ben Wallace made one-of-two free throws with 3.2 seconds left to put the Bulls on top and blocked Brad Miller's shot at the other end as Chicago held on for a 94-93 win over the Kings at the United Center.

The Bulls have lost eight straight after winning their last three at Sacramento.

Chicago dropped the opener of the swing on Wednesday. Al Jefferson scored 26 points and pulled down 20 rebounds to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Bulls, 83-67, at the Target Center.

Kirk Hinrich and Thabo Sefolosha scored 14 points apiece for the Bulls, with Hinrich adding nine assists and Sefolosha grabbing eight rebounds. Rookie Joakim Noah collected 10 points and eight boards for Chicago, which has dropped three of its last four games overall.

The Bulls are 8-14 on the road this season. They will also visit Seattle, Portland, Golden State and Utah on the trip. In injury news for the Bulls, both Ben Gordon and Joe Smith are questionable for Saturday.

Sacramento has won three in a row and will shoot for a season-high fourth straight victory when it continues a five-game homestand versus the Bulls. The Kings are 2-0 on the stand and improved to 14-9 at ARCO Arena this season after Friday's 112-103 win over the New Orleans Hornets.

Ron Artest scored 24 points to lead Sacramento, which will also host Seattle and Utah on the current homestand. Miller posted a double-double with 22 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, while Kevin Martin added 22 points in a winning effort.
