Washington Wizards (7-8) at Philadelphia 76ers (4-10), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards wrap up a four-game road trip this evening against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.
Washington is 1-2 on the trip and has lost three of the last four games since ripping off six straight wins. In Wednesday's 109-94 loss to the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center, Brendan Haywood led the team with 19 points and Caron Butler netted 16 for Washington.
The Wizards are 4-5 on the road this season and certainly miss All-Star guard Gilbert Arenas, who is expected to miss at least three months after undergoing knee surgery on November 21.
The Sixers have lost four of five games and fell to 4-10 on the season following Wednesday's 106-95 home setback to the Utah Jazz.
Andre Iguodala scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Sixers, who again failed to win consecutive games for the first time this season. Andre Miller had 16 points and Louis Williams finished with 13 points and six assists in the loss. Philly is now 2-5 at the Wachovia Center this season.
Washington handed the Sixers a 116-101 loss on November 20 this season at the Verizon Center. It has won four straight and six of the last eight meetings.
Philadelphia is 7-3 in the previous 10 matchups with the Wizards in the City of Brotherly Love.
