New Orleans Hornets (18-10) at Charlotte Bobcats (10-16), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The New Orleans Hornets close out a short two-game road trip when they pay a visit to the Charlotte Bobcats tonight.
The Hornets have won three straight games and opened the trek with a 116-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday at FedExForum. Chris Paul scored 40 points and dished out nine assists for the Hornets, who have won six of their last nine games.
David West added 20 points and nine rebounds, while Peja Stojakovic chipped in 21 points for New Orleans. The Hornets are 10-5 away from home this season.
Meanwhile, Charlotte will conclude a brief two-game homestand on Friday and has lost two straight, four of six and 12 of the last 16 games. In Wednesday's 108-104 setback to the Washington Wizards at Charlotte Bobcats Arena, Gerald Wallace finished with a season-high 32 points, nine boards and eight assists.
Jason Richardson added 27 points in the loss, as the Bobcats fell to 9-7 at home in 2007-08.
New Orleans and Charlotte split a pair of meetings last season. The Hornets have won four of the six all-time meetings.
The Hornets are 1-2 in games played at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
