Denver Nuggets (15-11) at Sacramento Kings (11-14), 9 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Sacramento Kings begin a four-game homestand when they welcome the Denver Nuggets tonight to ARCO Arena.
This is the second meeting of the campaign between the clubs. On December 8th, Allen Iverson scored 23 points, handed out 10 assists and hit the game-sealing free throws as the Nuggets survived multiple rallies by the Kings to earn a 101-97 victory at the Pepsi Center.
Denver has won three in a row over Sacramento. The Nuggets snapped a 20-game series road losing streak on March 11, 2007.
Sacramento goes for its third straight victory this evening. On Wednesday, Ron Artest scored 26 points and handed out eight assists to lift the Kings over the Milwaukee Bucks, 102-89, at the Bradley Center.
Beno Udrih scored 24 points on 9-of-13 from the field, including 6-of-7 from beyond the arc for the Kings, who won their second in a row and third in four games overall. John Salmons ended with 17 points for Sacramento, which went 3-2 on its five-game road trip.
The Kings are 8-4 at home this season. They will also host Boston, Philadelphia and Phoenix on the current homestand.
The Nuggets conclude a two-game road trip against Sacramento. On Friday, LaMarcus Aldridge scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers knocked off Denver, 99-96, at the Rose Garden.
Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson both scored 34 points in the loss for Denver. Anthony grabbed 12 rebounds for the Nuggets, who have lost three of their last four games overall.
On the injury front for Denver, center Marcus Camby (hip and back) and forward Kenyon Martin (strained right hamstring) are questionable. Camby and Martin were both sidelined against Portland.
Denver is 4-6 on the road this season. The Nuggets return home to host the Bucks on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center.
