Dallas Mavericks (27-12) at Washington Wizards (21-17), 1 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Dallas Mavericks will hit the road for two straight games, starting with the Washington Wizards this afternoon at the Verizon Center.
Dallas will also visit Charlotte on the road trip and is 9-9 away from home this season. In Saturday's 111-96 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics at American Airlines Center, Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out six assists to lead the way.
Josh Howard and Devin Harris both scored 17 points and Jason Terry added 15 off the bench for the Mavs, winners of eight of their last nine games. Jerry Stackhouse contributed 10 points in a winning effort.
Meanwhile, the Wizards will wrap up a short two-game homestand today and are 12-8 as the host this season.
Washington posted its fourth win in five tries with Friday's 111-98 triumph over the New York Knicks, Antawn Jamison scored 32 points and Caron Butler added 22 points for the Wizards. Butler made all four of his foul shots, extending his streak to 54 consecutive made from the charity stripe, a season- best in the league. The 54 straight free throws is also a Wizards record.
The Wizards handed the Mavericks a 110-98 loss on November 26 at Dallas and have won two straight after losing the previous six matchups in the series.
Dallas has won seven of its last nine trips to D.C.
