(Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors open a season-long seven-game road trip when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the Staples Center.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Raptors will host the Clippers on Feberuary 8, 2008 at Air Canada Centre.

The Raptors were 2-0 against the Clippers last season. Toronto has lost three of its last five at the Clippers.

Toronto attempts to get back on the winning track this evening. On Sunday, Paul Pierce led six Celtics in double figures with 18 points as Boston cruised to its ninth straight victory, 90-77, over the Raptors at Air Canada Centre.

Chris Bosh scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the loss to Boston for the Raptors, who had a four-game winning streak halted. Jamario Moon ended with 13 points, while Kris Humphries collected 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench for Toronto, which shot just 38.9 percent (28-for-72) from the floor.

The Raptors are 6-5 on the road this season. They will also visit Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, San Antonio, Houston and New Orleans on the current road trip.

Los Angeles also tries to get back in the win column. Superstar Kobe Bryant finished with 32 points and eight rebounds as the Lakers downed the Clippers, 113-92, on Sunday at Staples Center.

Corey Maggette tied a season-high with 27 points and added seven rebounds and six steals, while Chris Kaman contributed 18 points and 16 rebounds in the loss to the Lakers for the Clippers, who have dropped two of their last three games overall.

The Clippers are 4-7 as the host this season. They are scheduled to visit the Dallas Mavericks on Friday at American Airlines Center and the Spurs on Saturday at the AT&T Center.

On the injury front for the Clippers, forward Tim Thomas (sprained right ankle) is questionable. Thomas is averaging 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game this season. The Villanova product did not play against the Lakers.
