Memphis Grizzlies (11-28) at Charlotte Bobcats (15-24), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats opens a three-game homestand when they host the Memphis Grizzlies tonight down south.
This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Grizzlies will host the Bobcats on March 17th at FedExForum.
The Grizzlies are 6-0 against the Bobcats and 3-0 at Charlotte.
Charlotte attempts to get back on the winning track against Memphis. David West scored 28 points to pace the Hornets to a 112-84 thrashing of the Charlotte Bobcats at New Orleans Arena.
Emeka Okafor posted 13 points and seven rebounds for the Bobcats, who had a two-game winning streak halted. Gerald Wallace and Jason Richardson both ended with 12 points for Charlotte.
The Bobcats are 13-11 at home this season. They will host the defending world champion San Antonio Spurs on Monday and the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday at American Airlines Center.
Memphis tries to win back-to-back games for just the second time this season. Mike Miller scored 25 points and Pau Gasol added 24 points, 12 rebounds and five assists as the Grizzlies defeated the Seattle SuperSonics, 124-100, on Friday at the FedExForum.
Juan Carlos Navarro chipped in 21 points off the bench for Memphis, which snapped a five-game skid. Bobby Jones had 20 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists.
The Grizzlies are 4-15 as the visitor. They will host the Chicago Bulls on Monday and the Orlando Magic on Wednesday at the FedExForum.
