Golden State Warriors (13-11) at Memphis Grizzlies (7-16), 8 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors plays the second of a five-game road trip when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the FedExForum.
Golden State started the trip with a bad loss. On Sunday, Tayshaun Prince finished with 23 points to lead the Detroit Pistons past the Warriors, 109-87, at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Matt Barnes ended with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench in the loss to Detroit for the Warriors, who have dropped two of their last three games overall. Stephen Jackson netted 13 in defeat.
The Warriors are 6-5 on the road this season. They will also visit Minnesota, New Jersey and Cleveland on the current swing.
Memphis tries to win back-to-back games, as it opens a two-game homestand. On Saturday, Rudy Gay scored 32 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the Grizzlies over the Orlando Magic, 123-119, at Amway Arena.
Juan Carlos Navarro scored 27 points in the win over Orlando for the Grizzlies, who halted a six-game slide with the victory. Mike Miller added 19 points and eight rebounds for Memphis.
On the injury front for Memphis, forward Pau Gasol has missed the last two contests with a sore right big toe. Gasol is averaging 17.3 points and a team- best 7.7 rebounds per game this season.
The Grizzlies are 4-7 at home this season. They are scheduled to host the defending world champion San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday at the FedExForum.
This is the first meeting of the campaign between Golden State and the Grizzlies. The Warriors have won three in a row over Memphis.
Golden State has dropped seven of its last nine at the Grizzlies.
